Reverend Bhakta Dasa (Albert Lange) is a minister of religion in the Vaishnava Hindu tradition.
Bhakta believes his application of Art is a tool for contemplation, meditation, ritual and practice, rather than just for display
He views the creative process as an intimate act of worship, a profound connection to the Divine that transcends boundaries and immerses him
into his deepest spiritual essence.
Bhakta paints in a contemporary style called Spiritual Expressionism , a
style that seeks ways to represent the Divine.
In this multifaith art exhibition, Bhakta mixes the sacred symbolism of flowers and the vibratory energy of mantras to create meditative and transcendent experiences of the Divine.
Bhakta has been part of the interfaith movement for over 20 years, and
is past chair of the Faith Communities Council of Victoria.
